Will is a greatly respected executive leader in healthcare, organizational strategy, operations, negotiations, mergers and acquisitions, leadership, international business, information technology, executive mentoring, and consulting. He is recognized for resolving extremely complex and high-visibility issues. He has held the titles of Chief Growth Officer, Chief Information Officer, Chief of Staff, and Chief Operating Officer.
He is currently the Chief Growth Officer for The HCI Group/Tech Mahindra, focusing on the organization's business growth and technology product and services direction. Will has an extensive career history demonstrating his long-term commitments to the organizations for which he works. He has held several multi-year engagements with three of the nation's largest healthcare organizations: Providence Health & Services, Dignity Health, and Prime Healthcare. Additionally, his endeavors with the Precision Medicine and clinical research Alliance joint venture between Dignity Health and Catholic Health Initiatives were integral to advancements in patient outcomes.
Concurrent with his executive roles in healthcare, Will teaches at Cornell University and eCornell, working with masters-level students in the fields of leadership, strategy, human resource strategy, and healthcare. He began in 2011. He teaches courses in The Executive Masters in Human Resources at Cornell’s ILR School, The Executive Masters in Healthcare Administration at Cornell’s Sloan College of Human Ecology, and The Executive Master of Public Administration program at Cornell’s Brooks Public Policy with a focus on government employees.
Will is recognized for his continuing contributions to strategic planning and innovation in healthcare and is a highly sought-after subject matter expert, speaking at universities and technology councils across the country. He has been a featured speaker at graduations and events at Cornell University and Kansas State University. Will was a panelist at the prestigious Roundtable on the State of Healthcare and Technology in the U.S., hosted by Harvard Business School and athenahealth. He also emceed and moderated the CIO & CISO Southern California Summit in 2020.
